What is Podiatry First?

Podiatry First is a podiatry clinic located in the heart of Ponsonby . Sian Johnson is the principal podiatrist at Podiatry First. Sian graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry). Sian has extensive experience working in private podiatry clinics in both Australia and New Zealand.

Alexandra Sanders consults in our busy Ponsonby clinic. Alexandra has a strong background in sports and biomechanical podiatry and childrens footcare. Alex is also a keen three time Ironman competitor who will be lining up again at the start of Ironman New Zealand in March 2011.

What you can expect from Podiatry First?

Podiatry First offers treatments and services for a broad range of foot and ankle issues including:

• Comprehensive lower limb assessment and treatment
• Gait analysis
• Foot wear advice
• Prescription of customised and prefabricated orthoses (if needed)
• General foot care (ingrown nails, corns, including minor surgical procedures)
• Diabetic foot care and assessment
